Activities conducted to sensitise the healthcare workers and collect MDAEs:

  • Regular hospital rounds are taken to collect MDAEs
  • Educating and sensitizing the nursing officers and lab technicians to detect and report MDAEs
  • Training residents to collect, assess and report MDAEs

The reporting is done by centralized indigenous software called Adverse Drug Reactions Monitoring System (ADRMS) designed for Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission.

The department is also committed to educate and keep updated through attending conferences, continued medical education sessions, webinars, training sessions and workshop on materiovigilance to ensure the safety of medical devices used as AIIMS, Rajkot.
