Col Puneet Kumar Arora got commissioned from Indian Military Academy, Dehradun on 11 Jun 1994 in Corps of Signals ( dealing with Tele comns) in the Indian Army .He has so far put in 28 years of dedicated service for the Nation & has been posted across the length and breadth of the country. He has actively participated in Kargil war ( Op Vijay) in 1999 & as also in Op Parakram ( after Parliament attack) in 2001 . He has been awarded AOC in C & Army Cdr's Commendation cards. He is a technical officer with BE (Electronics & Comn) & MBA  in Health and Hospital Mgt from IIHMR, New Delhi & as also  Diploma in Senior Defence Mgt from Indore University. Col Puneet during his coloured service has served in High Altitude areas of Kargil & Eastern Ladhak & tough areas in Manipur & Assam , wherein he has very diligently handled both Operational & complex logistic(adminstrative) tasks. He has successfully commanded a Signals unit in Guwahati , where during his tenure, the unit was awarded with a Unit Citation by the AOC in  C of Eastern Air Comd HQ. He has also served as  Staff Offr(GIS) at HQ Northern Comd  & later has also tenated the prestigious appointment of Dir Trg at Signals Directorate, AHQ New Delhi. Col Puneet has also served as Commanding Officer of two NCC Bns in UP. He carries with him vast technical & administrative experience & has also excelled in various professional & technical courses in his career so far. He specialises in IT , Telecom,  Training , HR, Administration, Fin Mgt &  GIS related fields.
He has taken over the challenging duties of Dy Dir Admin AIIMS Rajkot wef 20 Jun 2022.
