  • As per mandate at INI new AIIMS contributed towards establishing the academic , diagnostic and research goals as part of the pioneering teams at AIIMS Patna (2013), AIIMS Raipur (2016) and now at AIIMS Rajkot (2023).
  • Academics: Have served at different times at the new AIIMS as Pathology teaching co-ordinator for MBBS students, MD students and BSc Nursing students. Served as member of committee looking into framing the proposed MSc course curriculum (at AIIMS Raipur). Guided theses of several MD Pathology students (thesis) and also served as co-guide to theses of post graduates of other specialities.   • Research: Served as member of AIIMS Raipur Genetics Committee formulating the molecular diagnostic goals for the integrated common molecular genetics facility. Served as RNTCP committee member at AIIMS Raipur. Completed 10 intramural funded projects and 2 extramural projects
  • Diagnostics: In Charge of National Cancer Grid EQAS programme (immunohistochemistry) for the Department of Pathology AIIMS Raipur co-ordinating with TMH Mumbai.
  • Collaborative inter-disciplinary work: Served as primary representative from Department of Pathology for collaborating with IIT Bhilai in the area of Artificial intelligence .
  • EXPERTISE IN: All aspects of histopathology, frozen section pathology, cytopathology, hematopathology, clinical pathology reporting. -Specialised training in Oncopathology from Tata Memorial Hospital Mumbai . Post Doctoral Fellowship in Neuropathology from Christian Medical College Vellore. Well versed in immunohistochemistry (IHC), enzyme histochemistry, immunofluorescent stains, electron microscopy and all routine and special stains. Molecular Pathology Experience of interpretation of Fluorescent in situ hybridisation (FISH) and PCR. Trained in molecular genetics (diagnostics) from ACTREC, TMC Mumbai - hands-on training in NGS, sequencing, MLPA, PCR.
