Executive Director’s Message

I feel proud upon assuming the office of Executive Director AIIMS Rajkot Gujarat. AIIMS Rajkot is one of the Institute of National Importance (INI) .The main thrust of the institute will be to develop the budding Indian medical graduates holistically and make them take over the role of first contact in preventive, promotive and comprehensive medical care. Inculcation of clinical skills and judicious use of medical technology will be part of the curriculum. The Undergraduate curriculum will be modeled as per changing scenarios and developments. More objective ways of assessment will be adopted in phase manner.

As we grow with time patient care will take a lead. We have kept our milestone of starting OPD services for our esteemed patients by December 2021   to March 2022  in the new campus and IPD by June to September 2022. To extend rural and Urban tertiary health care services at the new campus   will  be  our priority.

We will strive hard to establish post graduate & postdoctoral studies, Dental and Nursing  college, sooner than later. We look forward to having MOUs with national and international INIs in various fields.AYUSH will be an integral part of our health care delivery. Institute faculty and students will be provided an ambience to promote research and publication.
